Refund policy

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason. We voluntarily extend this period to 30 days. We extend the same 30-day right of return, on the same terms, to customers resident in Switzerland.

To withdraw, send us an unambiguous statement of your decision by e-mail before the period ends. You may use the model withdrawal form set out in Annex I of Directive 2011/83/EU, but you are not obliged to.

Returning a work

Return the work within 14 days of informing us. It must come back in the condition in which you received it, in its original protective packaging, together with its numbered certificate of authenticity.

Works are shipped unframed and unmounted. A work that has been framed, mounted, trimmed or marked can no longer be returned, since it can no longer be sold within its edition.

Please contact us before sending anything back, so that we can confirm the return address and the packaging. You bear the direct cost of return shipping, unless the work arrived damaged, was not the work you ordered, or the return follows an error on our part.

Refunds

Once the work has reached us and been inspected, we refund the full purchase price together with the standard outbound delivery cost, within 14 days, to the payment method used for the order. We may withhold the refund until the work has reached us or you have provided proof that it has been sent.

Damage in transit

Please inspect your order on arrival. If the work is damaged, photograph the packaging and the work before unpacking further, and contact us as soon as possible and in any case within 14 days. We will replace the work from the same edition where one remains available, or refund it in full. Damage in transit is at our risk.

Commissioned and made-to-order works

Works produced to your own specification, such as a size, a paper or a crop not offered in the shop, are exempt from the right of withdrawal under Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU. This exemption never applies to a work bought as listed in the shop.
